Product Manager (Business Development)Dr. Manju is a Civil Engineer & holds a Ph.D. in the area of Geo-Environmental Engineering. Manju builds & scales Kensa’s funded Split Ownership Shared Ground Array product for developers/local authorities/Councils to decarbonise towns & cities.

Marketing OfficerAs a marketing professional with experience in both the private and public sector, Dave is currently coordinating marketing activities for the Heat the Streets project.

Project Officer (Heat the Streets)Katherine works within Kensa Utilities to oversee the Heat the Streets project as the Project Officer. Katherine liaises & builds relationships with residents to ensure the project runs smoothly & that customers feel confident with their installs.

Max Bridger
Project Manager (Heat the Streets)As project manager for Heat the Streets, Max works with the Kensa Delivery & Design team to ensure the smooth running of the programme. Max delivers the business model & will look to develop similar projects to effectively decarbonise at scale.

Managing DirectorWouter leads Kensa's offer to fund, own & operate shared ground arrays as a means to rapidly scale GSHP deployment. Previously Wouter was National Grid's strategy lead, shaping National Grid's strategy across networks, flexibility, renewables & heat.

Stephanie Gregory
Marketing DirectorCIM qualified and experienced in marketing renewables since 2007, Stephanie joined Kensa in 2011 and is responsible for the marketing and business growth of the Kensa Group of companies.

Kate Clarke
Finance DirectorKate has a background in both private and public finance, in sectors ranging from services to manufacturing. She is responsible for running the finance and admin department and dealing with the day to day financial matters.

Dr. Matthew Trewhella
CEOA former NASA scientist, Matt joined Kensa in 2013 and oversaw the development of Kensa Contracting’s large-scale delivery operations and helped pioneer the use of shared ground loop systems. Matt was appointed as CEO in 2022.

James Standley
COOJames is responsible for delivering customer and shareholder value through Kensa’s manufacturing, field delivery, technical support and NPD activities. James was appointed COO of The Kensa Group in 2022.

Strategic AdvisorFormer CEO of The Kensa Group and former Chair of the GSHPA, Simon has overseen Kensa's rise to UK market leader status and has been heavily involved in policy discussions at Westminster and Whitehall as a Top Tier Stakeholder to BEIS.

Mel Adderley
Group Finance DirectorA qualified Chartered Accountant, Mel joined Kensa in 2009 as Finance Director and provides overall financial advice and control and supports the finance team in fulfilling its duties.

Chris Miles
Non-Executive DirectorChris joined Kensa in 2020. He invested in and led the growth of a renewable heat business from 2005, which was later sold to a major utility. Chris has had board-level experience across 8 businesses in the low-carbon energy sector.

Andrew Rendel
Non-Executive DirectorAndrew is a Senior Investment Manager in Legal & General Capital’s Clean Energy team. He has been working in the renewables & cleantech sectors for over a decade during which he has developed expertise across debt, private equity & venture capital.
